As you may have guessed already, radio silence here at Christinel.org means that things are brewing in the background that I'm not yet at liberty to discuss publicly.
I can tell you that we've already had an offer on the house - within the first two weeks of listing it! Even though it seems to have fallen through, we're still quite encouraged at the early interest and activity. I tell you, it's a good thing that the messaging around buying a home being "the American dream" is so well established in my head, otherwise I'd be really tempted to say that both buying and selling homes are RIGHT UP THERE in the list of most stressful life events. Neither one of us are getting much sleep. I guess it doesn't help that I changed the ringtone on my phone to "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Fantasia. Since that's the number the real estate agents call to schedule showings, that song spins round in my head all hours of the day and night whether or not the phone is ringing. Super idea, Chris!
Both Scott and I are in the middle of a fair amount of activity on the job front, too. Some really fun things are in the works. We'll be glad to update you privately if you're curious, otherwise, watch this space until things solidify.
