College Football Television Schedule

Wow - I just found this handy College Football Television Schedule. I don't know how many times I've had to surf around to various sports listings trying to figure out what network is carrying which game at what time. Only problem is that it seems to indicate that the Ohio State Minnesota game tomorrow is not going to be televised at all? Huh?

Wickedly IM-Perfect

Between CES & being majorly sick, I'm a little behind. I did finally manage to watch the Tivo-ed Wickedly Perfect episode, though. What a PERFECT outcome! Tom was perfectly himself, efficiently eliminated and we don't have to watch another episode. Way to go Tom!! Oh, and I love the Wickedly Perfect website headline, "Tom takes a tumble". Oh, poor Tom. I'm so bummed I missed the killer RN alum viewing party at Celtic Swell.

More neat stuff

Still searching for information about how to cast you own resin panels, I found these incredible sculptural gypsum wall panels, Kova Krystal Weave - a stunning fabric woven from transparent extruded polymer and Contract a commercial interior and architecture magazine. So much fun that I keep forgetting that Scott and I agreed to work on the garage and utility room organization before other interior projects. oops!

Dark Horizons releases the teaser one-sheet for the July 2005 release of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp's Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.

Ergh. So torn about this. Johnny Depp = perfection. Tim Burton = genius. But Charlie? The original is SO perfect. Nic Cage was also in the running for this role at one point. That would have been interesting and equally conflicting.

Winning streak...

I've been enjoying quite a streak of fantastic books lately....which I was really in need of after spending 3+ months on what felt like a high school reading assignment - Anna Karenina. Yes, I know it's a classic, a masterwork, and even in Oprah's Book Club....and I'm glad I read it....but boy I had a tough time getting through it....oh, how I wished for an editor! sheesh.
Anyway, my much lighter and highly enjoyed recent fare:

Running with Scissors (frankly, enjoyed this less than Dry)

grrrr - I'm so annoyed at the Amazing Race for eliminating Jon & Al (the funny, great-spirited clowns) even though Reichen & Chip pretty much cheated. Who will we cheer for now? Plus, I think I'm going to have nightmares tonight about that dang shark tank they had to go into. uuugghhh - totally, way scary.

Even though I wasn't very excited about seeing Chicago, had you been driving the streets of Atlanta this evening, you could have witnessed me driving home from the theatre singing show tunes at the TOP OF MY 'can't carry a tune with a wheelbarrow' LUNGS having been so totally 'jazzed' by the film. Very enjoyable film, indeed, as Shel said. John C Reilly singing "Mr. Cellophane" was particularly lovely. I so totally agree with his nomination. Sometime in the next few days, "The Hours" is on tap.
