So it's election eve and I find myself in a very surprising place: undecided.
No, no, not about the major one. That's not ever been in question. It's gonna be a ketchup landslide.
Oh - want to know what candidates or parties your neighbors contribute to? Check out FundRace.org - enter your address and FundRace.org returns a map of your neighborhood complete with name/address listings for all your neighbors who have contributed to a major candidate or party, when, and how much. Their calculations are based on records filed with the FEC of contributions by all individuals totalling more than $200 (and some totalling less than $200) to a single Republican or Democratic presidential campaign or national committee between January 1, 2003 and October 13, 2004.
Handy and almost disturbing.
Back to my voting quandry.
I'm undecided on Lands Comissioner. The zoologist (L) or the fireman (D)?
and also on Secretary of State. The plucky college student (L) who'd give us instant runoff voting, or my former Microsoft colleague (D)?
I guess if push comes to shove I'll have to go D just to keep the R from winning, but I hate to choose based on who I don't want to win.
